TMC MP Yusuf Pathans father-in-law detained in Mumbai road-rage assault

PTC News Desk: The father-in-law and brother-in-law of TMC MP and former cricketer Yusuf Pathan allegedly assaulted a passenger in Mumbai following a roadside altercation, police said.
Pathan’s father-in-law Khalid Khan and brother-in-law Umarshad Khan, along with another relative, have been detained by Mumbai Police for allegedly assaulting a man after a dispute.
The incident occurred on Saturday when a vehicle driven by Yusuf Khan reportedly splashed water on Shoaib Khan, a relative of Pathan’s in-laws, leading to an argument. According to police, Yusuf Khan was heading to file a complaint when he was stopped by Khalid Khan and others, who allegedly attacked him. The incident was captured on CCTV.
In response, Umarshad Khan has also filed a counter FIR against the passenger at the same police station that registered the case against him and his father.
A local Mumbai court will hear bail pleas of Pathan’s relatives on Wednesday in connection with the case. Police said further investigation into the incident is ongoing.
