PTC Web Desk: Union Minister Ravneet Singh Bittu has announced that Prime Minister Narendra Modi is scheduled to visit Punjab on July 17. The minister shared the information in Jalandhar.
During the media interaction, Ravneet Singh Bittu also criticised actor-singer Diljit Dosanjh and the makers of the Satluj, alleging that the film could disturb peace in Punjab.

Bittu also targeted Diljit Dosanjh, accusing the actor of sending mixed messages. He alleged that while Dosanjh asks supporters of Khalistan to leave his concerts, he is at the same time promoting what the minister described as a "terror narrative" through the film.
Referring to human rights activist Jaswant Singh Khalra, Bittu said Khalra was taken into police custody after the assassination of his grandfather, former Punjab Chief Minister Beant Singh. His remarks came while responding to questions related to the film and its subject.
The minister did not provide details about Prime Minister Modi's proposed programme during the July 17 visit. More information about the visit is expected to be announced by the authorities in the coming days.
