Vardev Singh Noni Mann gets bail: The Punjab and Haryana High Court has granted bail to senior Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) leader Vardev Singh Noni Mann, providing him major relief after nearly five months in custody.
Noni Mann, a prominent political figure in Punjab and son of former Ferozepur MP late Zora Singh Mann, was arrested in November 2025 in connection with a firing incident that took place during the October 2024 panchayat elections in Fazilka.
Earlier, his bail plea had been rejected by a Fazilka court in December, following which he approached the High Court seeking relief.
The case pertains to alleged clashes and firing reported during the panchayat polls, which had drawn significant attention in the region.
