Price of commercial LPG cylinder slashed by Rs 91.50, check rates

Chandigarh, September 1: A big relief for customers as the Oil Marketing Companies (OMCs) has reduced the price of commercial liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) cylinders.

As per the reports, Oil Marketing Companies have reduced the price of LPG by Rs 91.50 which will be effective from today, i.e. September 1.

As per the data, commercial cylinder will be cheaper by Rs 91.50 in Delhi, Rs 100 in Kolkata, Rs 92.50 in Mumbai and Rs 96 in Chennai.

As per the announcement, a 19 kg commercial LPG will now cost Rs 1885 as against the old price of Rs 1976 07. Similarly, a commercial LPG cylinder will cost Rs 1995.50 instead of Rs 2095.50 in Kolkata, Rs 1844 instead of Rs 1936.50 in Mumbai, and Rs 2045 rupees in Chennai instead of  Rs 2141.

Notably, the reduction in commercial LPG cylinders will be done in almost every part of the country.

The reduction will also provide big relief to restaurants, eateries and tea stalls, etc which constitute the largest user segment.

Earlier , in the month of May, the price of the 19 kg cylinder reached an all-time high of Rs 2,354.
