Prof D P Goyal to be new director of IIM-Shillong

Prof D P Goyal has been appointed as the next director of Indian Institute of Management, Shillong. He would be succeeding Prof Amitabha De.

IIM-Shillong

Prof D P Goyal is presently Dean of Management at Gurgaon-based Management Development Institute (MDI). He has been appointed by the board of directors for a period of 5 years. Prof D P Goyal was the unanimous choice of the search-cum-selection committee.

IIM-Shillong

Prof D P Goyal has over 32 years of teaching, research and academic administrative experience to his credit.  He is also a visiting Professor at Aarhus University, Aarhus, Denmark. He has successfully supervised 14 PhD research scholars. He has published over 60 research papers in refereed national and international journals of repute. He has been the principal investigator of UGC sponsored research projects.

IIM-Shillong

He has published 18 books including three highly acclaimed textbooks one each on Management Information Systems.
