Farmer dies at Shambhu border protest site, hailed from Amritsar

He was reportedly heading to take a bath early in the morning when he suddenly collapsed

PTC Web Desk:  A heartbreaking incident occurred at Shambhu Border where a farmer, Pragat Singh, died of a suspected heart attack during the ongoing protest organised by the Kisan Mazdoor Sangharsh Committee. Pragat Singh, son of Tarlok Singh, hailed from Kakkar village, Lopoke Tehsil, in Amritsar district.

Singh was reportedly heading to take a bath early in the morning when he suddenly collapsed. According to farmer leaders, it is suspected that the cause of death was a heart attack.

The body has been sent to the Civil Hospital in Rajpura for further examination, with doctors at the hospital expected to provide more clarification soon.
