Karan Gilhotra appointed member of PSERC State Advisory Committee
PTC Web Desk: Karan Gilhotra, Chair of the Punjab State Chapter of the PHD Chamber of Commerce and Industry (PHDCCI), has been appointed as a member of the State Advisory Committee of the Punjab State Electricity Regulatory Commission (PSERC) for the year 2026. The appointment is being viewed as an important move to enhance industry representation and stakeholder participation in Punjab’s power sector policymaking and regulatory processes.
The State Advisory Committee of PSERC plays a vital role in advising the Commission on key matters such as electricity generation and distribution, tariff determination, renewable energy integration, and consumer interests. With his strong background in industry leadership and policy advocacy, Gilhotra’s inclusion is expected to bring meaningful perspectives from the business and industrial community to the regulatory framework.
