Punjab police nabs International drug dealer Shawn Bhinder on FBIs most-wanted list

PTC News Desk: The Punjab police have arrested Shehnaz Singh, a notorious international drug dealer who has been on most-wanted list of US investigation and security agency Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI). Singh aka Shawn Bhinder had his involvement drug trafficking in Colombia, the US, Canada and other nations.
Shawn Bhinder, fled to India after the crackdown on his associates on February 26. The associates were identified as Amritpal ‘Amrit Bal’ Singh, Amritpal ‘Cheema’ Singh, Takdir Singh aka Romy, Sarbsit Singh alias Sabi and Fernando ‘Franco’ Valladares.
Punjab DGP Gaurav Yadav while announcing the arrest of drug peddler said that the transnational drug lord wanted by the FBI has been arrested by Tarn Taran police and he was a key player in global narcotics syndicate smuggling cocaine from Columbia into the US and Canada.
The post stated that the operation was “a testament” to the Punjab Police’s “zero-tolerance approach to drug trafficking” and “organised crime.”
“We remain committed to working with international law enforcement agencies to ensure that Punjab is not a safe haven for drug smugglers and criminals,” it concluded.
