Rahul Tripathi shines as KKR beats CSK by 10 runs

KKR vs CSK: With Rahul Tripathi's magnificent half-century, Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) is back on winning ways as it defeated Chennai Super Kings by 10 runs in Abu Dhabi on Wednesday.

In the 21st match of IPL 2020, Dinesh Karthik's Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) locked horns with MS Dhoni-led Chennai Super Kings (CSK) at the Sheikh Zayed Stadium in Abu Dhabi.

After winning the toss, Dinesh Karthik opted to bat first and KKR put up a score of 167 on the board. Chasing 168, Chennai Super Kings could only make 157 runs in 20 overs.

Rahul Tripathi smashed a magnificent half-century as he scored 81 runs off 51 balls including 8 boundaries and 3 sixes.

Apart from Tripathi, none of the CSK players crossed even 20 runs-mark.

While chasing 168 runs, Shane Watson scored 50 runs off 40 balls including 6 boundaries and a six. Likewise, Faf Du Plessis scored 17 runs off 10 balls while Ambati Rayudu scored 30 runs.

MS Dhoni, Sam Curran, Kedhar Jadhav, and Ravindra Jadeja scored 11, 17, 7, and 21 runs, respectively.
