IPL 2020: Delhi Capitals seal second place in playoffs, RCB qualify too

DC vs RCB, IPL 2020: Half-centuries from Ajinkya Rahane and Shikhar Dhawan led the Delhi Capitals to magnificent win over Royal Challengers Bangalore by six wickets in Abu Dhabi on Monday. With this, Delhi sealed second spot in IPL 2020 playoffs while RCB has also qualified for the same.

Delhi Capitals will now face the table toppers, the Mumbai Indians, in the first qualifier in Dubai on Thursday.

Talking about DC vs RCB, Delhi Capitals won the toss and elected to bowl first while RCB managed to put 152 runs on the board courtesy Devdutt Padikkal who scored 50 runs and AB De Villiers who scored 35 off 21 balls.

Chasing 153, Delhi Capitals lost early wicket in the form of Prithvi Shaw who scored 9 runs.

educareShikhar Dhawan and Ajinkya Rahane went on to score half-centuries and led the team to an amazing victory. Dhawan scored 54 off 41 while Rahane scored 60 off 46 balls.
