Some players from Kings XI Punjab may have indulged in suspicious activities linked to throwing matches, and the Indian board’s anti-corruption team has not been able to effectively tackle the menace reports the leading English Daily.

The IPL team’s co-owner Preity Zinta revealed these information before the BCCI officials during a meeting this month.

She told officials that she had seen such activities from close quarters and had wanted to speak earlier about this but possessed no proof, sources told The Indian Express.

Zinta also observed that she had felt at times that some IPL matches involving her team had followed a pre-decided pattern.
