ICC rankings: Abhishek Sharma storms into No. 2, India dominates T20I top 10

Cricket rankings: India opener Abhishek Sharma has moved up to second place in the latest ICC Men’s T20 International batting rankings after his impressive performances against Afghanistan.
Abhishek climbed above Pakistan’s Sahibzada Farhan following a strong start to the T20I series. He scored 82 runs in the first match and followed it with 39 runs in the second, helping him make a significant move in the latest rankings.
India now has both of the top two batters in the T20I rankings. Ishan Kishan continues to hold the No. 1 position, while Abhishek has moved into second.
Three Indians in T20I batting top 10
India also has another batter inside the top 10. Tilak Varma is ranked eighth in the latest list.
England also has three batters among the top 10, matching India's representation in the elite group.
Varun Chakaravarthy breaks into T20I bowling top five
India's Varun Chakravarthy has climbed two places to reach fifth in the T20I bowling rankings.
There was also a major improvement for Jasprit Bumrah, who jumped seven places to No. 10. Arshdeep Singh gained 11 positions and is now ranked 14th, while Axar Patel moved up six places to 27th.

England fast bowler Ollie Robinson has made a major jump in the Test bowling rankings, moving up 23 places to third.
Robinson took 21 wickets during England's 3-0 World Test Championship series win over Pakistan and now has 856 rating points, the best ranking of his career. He has also become the 16th England bowler to cross the 850-point mark.
England's Josh Tongue also made a significant move after claiming 19 wickets in the series. He climbed 22 places to 11th, another career-best ranking.
Babar Azam moves up two places
Pakistan batter Babar Azam has climbed two places to 13th in the Test batting rankings after scoring 76 in the second innings of the Birmingham Test.
Pakistan's Saud Shakeel is ranked 16th, while Shan Masood has moved to 37th. England's Jamie Smith has returned to the top 20.
Pakistan's Razaullah has entered the Test batting rankings at 91st and is ranked 120th among bowlers.
Movement in ODI rankings
There have also been notable changes in the ODI rankings.
Australia's Matt Renshaw jumped 54 places to 68th after scoring 109 against Zimbabwe. Zimbabwe's Tony de Zorzi is ranked 54th, while Craig Ervine is 72nd and Australia's Cooper Connolly is 77th.
Nepal's Dipendra Singh Airee has moved up to 84th in the ODI batting rankings and also gained ground in the bowling and all-rounder lists.
Australia's Nathan Ellis also entered the ODI bowling top 20 for the first time after taking five wickets for 31 runs against Zimbabwe.
