Kulhad Pizza couple: A couple from Punjab, famous for their innovative "Kulhad Pizza" business, has come forward with claims of facing political pressure to resolve a controversial viral video case. Sehaj Arora, the owner of a food cart, expressed concern about his wife, who recently gave birth, and her battle with depression, appealing for support from their followers.
In a heartfelt plea, Sehaj Arora urged the media and the public to refrain from tarnishing their image with baseless statements lacking evidence. He shared his sentiments on both Facebook and Instagram, emphasising their distressing situation.
"We are being forced to settle this due to political pressure. Statements were made against us when we denied. I have all the evidence. We don't have any political support. We need your support to stop these videos on the internet and get justice," he added.
The couple, hailing from Jalandhar and known for their "Kulhad Pizza" business, had garnered substantial popularity for serving pizza in earthen cups, showcasing their innovative culinary skills.
However, their lives took an unexpected turn when a video allegedly depicting them in a compromising position started circulating online earlier this month. Mr. Arora vehemently denied the video's authenticity and filed a formal complaint with the police.
Last week, Mr. Arora recorded a video outside a police station, narrating how they had received the purportedly "fake" video on Instagram and were subsequently extorted for money. He courageously refused to comply with the demands, and the video was subsequently shared widely on the internet.
In a recent video released on Friday, Mr. Arora provided further insight into the ordeal that he and his wife endured as a result of the controversy. He also asserted that the woman responsible for blackmailing them had been apprehended by law enforcement. The "Kulhad Pizza" couple's situation highlights the challenges faced by individuals who become unwittingly embroiled in viral controversies, emphasising the importance of due process and fairness in such situations.
