Admiration for Ranbir Kapoor and Ananya Panday's on-screen chemistry in wedding wear brand ad: What makes them a perfect pair?

PTC News Desk: Ranbir Kapoor and Ananya Panday recently appeared together in a commercial for a men's wedding wear brand, and fans couldn't get enough of their chemistry. In a refreshing twist, it's the bride-to-be, played by Ananya, who is utterly mesmerized by her groom-to-be, portrayed by Ranbir. This unexpected on-screen pairing sparked a flurry of positive reactions from the internet, with many expressing a desire to see them together in a movie.


The commercial, shared by Ananya on Instagram, depicts the two stars visiting a men's wear store in search of the perfect sherwani. Ananya, in her role as the bride-to-be, offers her feedback as Ranbir tries on various sherwanis, demonstrating how he would make a grand entrance at the wedding in each outfit. While she approves of all of them, it's the final sherwani that leaves her utterly smitten. Ranbir makes a dramatic entrance in a white sherwani complete with a turban and stole, sweeping Ananya off her feet and declaring, "I am the hero in her story, and a hero cannot make a dull entrance."

Viewers were captivated by the chemistry between the two actors, with comments like "Why do they look so good together?" and "They should do a film together… hot, hot" flooding social media. Many expressed a desire to see them in a romantic comedy, with comments like "Love it… would love to see these two in a rom-com" and "They look lovely together; cast them in a movie." Some even praised their chemistry over Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt's pairing.

As for their upcoming projects, Ranbir Kapoor is preparing for the release of the film "Animal," directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga of "Kabir Singh" fame. The film also stars Anil Kapoor, Bobby Deol, and Rashmika Mandanna and is set to release in multiple languages in December. Ranbir has also been cast as Lord Ram in Nitesh Tiwari's "Ramayan," with Yash playing Ravana and Sai Pallavi as Sita.

Ananya Panday, on the other hand, has several projects in the pipeline. She will be seen in "Kho Gaye Hum Kahan" alongside Adarsh Gourav and Siddhant Chaturvedi. Additionally, she has two more films and a web series titled "Call Me Bae" in her upcoming projects list.
