Warm morning greets Delhiites

New Delhi: The residents of the national capital today woke up to a warm morning with the minimum temperature settling at 16.4 degrees Celsius, five notches above the season's average.

The humidity level touched 88 per cent at 8.30 AM.

According to the India Meteorological Department (IMD), visibility recorded at Safdarjung observatory was 1200 metres.

An official of the department predicted clear skies throughout the day.

"Skies will remain clear and maximum temperature is expected to hover around 29 degrees Celsius," the official said.

Yesterday, the minimum and maximum temperatures recorded were 16.4 degrees Celsius and 32.4 degrees Celsius respectively.
