Punjab Assembly Elections 2021: Bhoa constituency falls in Pathankot district. Joginder Pal Singh from the Congress is the current MLA. He had defeated his nearest opponent Seema Kumari of the BJP with a margin of 27,496 votes in the 2017 Punjab Assembly elections. Voters According to the voters’ list for the 2017 Assembly elections, the total number of voters in the constituency is 1, 70, 910. As many as 206 polling stations were established by the Election Commission in the last elections. A total of 1,30,599 votes were cast in the Bhoa constituency and the percentage of voting held was 76.41%, which was recorded lower than the state average. Candidates Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) had allotted party ticket to Dr Vinod while the BJP had an alliance with the Shiromani Akali Dal. The BJP gave party ticket to Seema Kumari.
