Punjab Assembly Elections 2022: Dasuya is located in the Hoshiarpur district of Punjab. It is one of the 117 seats of Punjab Vidhan Sabha. Congress' Arun Dogra won the last assembly elections and is the current MLA of Dasuya. He won the 2017 elections by defeating Bharatiya Janata Party's Sukhjit Kaur Sahi with a margin of 17,638 votes. Voters According to the voter list for the 2017 assembly elections, the total number of voters in the constituency is 1,83,555. 212 polling stations were established by the election commission during these elections. A total of 1,29,496 votes were cast in the Dasuya constituency and the percentage was 70.55%, which was recorded lower than the state average. Candidates Aam Aadmi Party's Balbir Kaur, Bharatiya Janata Party'sSukhjit Kaur and Congress' Arun Dogra were MLA candidates for the Dasuya constituency in the 2017 Punjab assembly elections. Arun Dogra (Congress) won with 56,527 votes, while Sukhjit Kaur (BJP) got 38,889 votes. Aam Aadmi Party candidate Balbir Kaur managed to win 16,330 votes.
