Delegation of Sabat Surat Cine Artists Federation meets SGPC President to discuss artists' contribution in world of cinema
A delegation of Sabat Surat Cine Artists Federation, which came into existence on June 30, met Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee (SGPC) president Bibi Jagir Kaur at Amritsar on Thursday.
Giving informing about the meeting, the chairman of the federation Mahabir Singh Bhullar, and President Amritpal Singh Billa said that the main purpose of the meeting was to inform the SGPC president about their organization and also to give information about the contribution of artists to the world of cinema.

Meanwhile, the Vice President of the Federation, Daljit Singh Arora, and the General Secretary Amritpal Singh said that they discussed several issues with the SGPC President Bibi Jagir Kaur.

The suggestions included the allotment of timings for the shooting of films in Gurdwaras, under the SGPC, be fixed through a single window. Likewise, the delegation discussed the honoring of artists of Sabat Surat Cine Artists Federations through special programs for their long-standing contributions towards cinema and culture.
Likewise, encouraging religious films, participation of well-known actors in religious films, and other multimedia programs to be made by the Shiromani Gurdwara Parbhandhak Committee were among the topics which were discussed during the meeting.
Besides honoring the artists, Bibi Jagir Kaur agreed with the views of the federation during the meeting and ensured them of full cooperation.
Apart from Singh Sahib Giani Harpal Singh who came specially from Fatehgarh Sahib in today's meeting, the executive members of the organization Baljinder Singh Darapuri, Sukhbir Singh Bath, Jaswinder Singh Shinda, Rajinder Singh Nadu, Gagandeep Singh Goraya, Jatinder Singh Jitu, Gurjot Singh and Tarwinder Singh were present during the meeting.
