Punjab Assembly elections 2022: Dirba, constituency number 100, is located in the Sangrur District of Punjab. It is one of the 117 seats of Punjab Vidhan Sabha. Harpal Singh Cheema from AAP had won the last assembly elections, who is the current MLA of Dirba.
Voters
According to the voter list for the 2017 assembly elections, the total number of voters was 172684. 185 polling stations were established by the election commission during these elections. A total of 145422 votes were cast in the constituency Dirba and the percentage was 84.21%.
Candidates
Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) had given the ticket to Harpal Singh Cheema for the 2017 assembly elections. He won the elections by defeating his nearest opponent Ajaib Singh Ratol of Congress with a margin of 1645 votes. SAD had deployed Gulzar Singh as its MLA candidate from the Dirba constituency.
