PTC Web Desk: In a heartwarming turn of events, Bollywood heartthrob Ranbir Kapoor recently sent shockwaves through the entertainment world as he took to social media to interact with his ardent fans. During this candid exchange, the A-list actor confirmed what many had been speculating - he's embarking on an extended break from the silver screen to relish the joys of fatherhood and dedicate quality time to his precious daughter, Raha.

The announcement comes on the heels of the news that his superstar wife, Alia Bhatt, is all set to dive into the shooting schedule of her forthcoming project, 'Jigra,' compelling Ranbir Kapoor to take on the role of a doting stay-at-home dad. The power couple, who tied the knot in April 2022, welcomed their bundle of joy, Raha, into the world on November 6, 2022.

In an endearing reflection on his newfound role as a father, Ranbir Kapoor expressed his delight at receiving the long-anticipated paternity leave he had yearned for. He spoke fondly of Raha, detailing her exciting developments. According to the beaming father, Raha has reached the stage where she's begun to crawl, recognise her loved ones, and even attempt her first baby words - "Pa" and "Ma." Ranbir Kapoor shared, "It's a beautiful time to be around her, and I am going to cherish this forever."

While Ranbir takes a pause from his cinematic commitments, fans eagerly anticipate the release of his upcoming movie, 'Animal.' The film, scheduled for a theatrical premiere on December 1, promises a gripping narrative featuring Ranbir alongside iconic Anil Kapoor, the vivacious Rashmika Mandanna, and the formidable Bobby Deol.

In 'Animal,' Anil Kapoor assumes the role of Balbir Singh, Ranbir's on-screen father, with Rashmika Mandanna portraying Geetanjali, his love interest. Bobby Deol takes up the mantle of the formidable antagonist. The film has garnered immense anticipation, thanks to the collaboration of powerhouse production houses T-Series, Cine1 Studios, and Bhadrakali Pictures, led by Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar, and Murad Khetani.

Additionally, the much-awaited epic drama 'Ramayana' remains in Ranbir Kapoor's filmography, promising a captivating cinematic journey in the near future.
