His remarks came as Chattopadhyays was discussing getting caught between his mother-in-law and daughter-in-law. Big B responded, "I completely understand, even I became a sandwich at home with everyone. What I appreciate the most about my family is its diversity. My daughter (Shweta Bachchan) married in Punjab, while my son (Abhishek Bachchan) married in the south. We have people from all over the country; it's like a mini-India, which we love."
For the unversed, Amitabh Bachchan's son Abhishek Bachchan married actor Aishwarya Rai in 2007. Shweta Bachchan, Amitabh's daughter, married businessman Nikhil Nanda in 1997. Nikhil is also the son of industrialist Rajan Nanda and his wife Ritu Nanda, Raj Kapoor's daughter.

Kaun Banega Crorepati 15 airs Monday through Friday at 9 p.m. on Sony TV. It is also available on the SonyLIV app. Amitabh has hosted the show for many years.
