PTC Web Desk: The producers of the highly anticipated spy-thriller movie 'War 2' revealed the official release date on Wednesday. Featuring Hrithik Roshan, Jr NTR, and Kiara Advani in pivotal roles, the film is scheduled to premiere in theaters on Independence Day 2025.
Taking to Instagram, trade analyst Taran Adarsh shared a post which he captioned, " YRF ANNOUNCES 'WAR 2' RELEASE DATE: INDEPENDENCE DAY WEEKEND 2025... Directed by Ayan Mukerji, 'War 2' signifies the first on-screen collaboration between Jr NTR and Hrithik Roshan. The recent introduction of Hrithik's character from 'War 2' in a post-credit scene of 'Tiger 3', a Salman Khan-Katrina Kaif starrer by Yash Raj Films, created a viral buzz on social media, amplifying fans' anticipation for the forthcoming sequel.
This movie serves as a sequel to the 2019 action-packed thriller 'War,' which starred Hrithik Roshan, Tiger Shroff, and Vani Kapoor. Directed by Siddarth Anand, 'War' was a high-octane action drama that achieved a remarkable feat, crossing the 200-crore mark within just seven days of its 2019 release, establishing itself as one of the highest-grossing Hindi films of that year.
