'Tu na jhukega kabhi': Amitabh Bachchan breaks silence over Operation Sindoor
PTC News Desk: Veteran Bollywood actor Amitabh Bachchan broke his silence on social media platform X. After posting a series of blank messages on X for 20 days, Indian megastar Amitabh Bachchan finally broke his silence with a detailed note on Operation Sindoor, India’s precision strikes targeting terrorist hubs in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir.
Known for his witty and often thought-provoking posts on trending topics, Bachchan chose to honor the Indian Armed Forces this time by sharing a poem written by his late father, renowned poet and scholar Harivansh Rai Bachchan.
Amitabh Bachchan's last post on X prior to today was on April 22, just before the terror attack at the popular Baisaran meadow in Kashmir. While he never explained his silence, his string of cryptic black posts—marked only by numbers he typically uses to organize his content—left followers puzzled.
Now, Bachchan has joined a host of Bollywood celebrities including Aamir Khan, Saif Ali Khan, Ranveer Singh, Sidharth Malhotra, Janhvi Kapoor, Kangana Ranaut, Rajinikanth, Mammootty, Emraan Hashmi, and others, who have voiced their outrage over the Pahalgam attack and later praised the Indian government and armed forces for carrying out precision strikes that destroyed nine terror camps on May 7.
