‘Welcome To The Jungle’: Akshay Kumar's ‘Welcome’ franchise to release 3rd edition on Christmas 2024
‘Welcome To The Jungle’: Fans have been eagerly waiting for the third edition of Akshay Kumar's hit franchise ‘Welcome’.
On Wednesday, trade analyst Taran Adarsh provided an update on the 'Welcome 3' release date.
He said on Instagram, “FIROZ A NADIADWALA LOCKS CHRISTMAS 2024 FOR ‘WELCOME 3’… #WelcomeToTheJungle is the title of the third instalment of #Welcome franchise… Producer #FirozANadiadwala has decided to bring the family entertainer in #Christmas2024. It may be recalled that the producer had released #Welcome [first part] in #Christmas2007. #Welcome3.”
According to Taran Adarsh, the film will be titled 'Welcome To The Jungle' and will be released on Christmas 2024.
The film is the third instalment of the popular 'Welcome' franchise, which previously starred Akshay Kumar, Katrina Kaif, Anil Kapoor, Nana Patekar, and Paresh Rawal.
The second instalment was titled 'Welcome Back' and was released in 2015. In the second instalment, actors John Abraham and Shruti Haasan took the position of Akshay and Katrina.
Anees Bazmee directed both films.
The official announcement of the 'Welcome To The Jungle' cast is still awaited.
According to speculations, the film's lead cast would consist of actors Akshay Kumar and Suniel Shetty.
In addition, Sanjay Dutt and Arshad Warsi will reportedly replace Anil Kapoor and Nana Patekar in the third instalment.
Although official confirmation from the makers on both updates is still pending.
