One last time, The Undertaker walked down to the WWE ring at Survivor Series 2020. The WWE legend remained in his character for ‘Farewell Taker’. He also delivered a message for the WWE Universe.
One of the iconic superstars of all time, The Undertaker was seen emotional during the segment even as he received a big round of applauds from the audience.
He said, “For 30 long years, I have made that slow walk to this ring. I’ve laid people to rest, time and time again. And now, my time has come,” he said even as he paid tribute to Paul Bearer, his iconic manager.
It’s been 30 years that The Undertaker made his WWE debut at Survivor Series 1990. Likewise, WWE announced that it would be celebrating the occasion by organizing ‘The Undertaker Final Farewell.’
Several WWE legends were present at the Thunderdome to celebrate the ‘Farewell Taker’. These include Kane, The Undertaker’s on-screen brother, JBL, Big Show, Shane McMahon, Jeff Hardy, Mick Foley, The Godfather, The Godwinns, Savio Vega, Rikishi, Kevin Nash, Booker T, Shawn Michaels, Ric Flair, and Triple H.
Meanwhile, the owner of WWE, Vince McMahon, introduced The Undertaker and welcomed him to the ring. It was an emotional night for WWE Universe that culminated with The Undertaker.
The WWE fans were so excited to see the legend during WWE Survivor Series 2020.
In June 2020, The Undertaker had announced his retirement from WWE.
