Punjab Assembly Elections 2022: Fatehgarh Sahib is one of the 117 seats of Punjab Vidhan Sabha. Kuljit Singh Nagra from Congress won the last assembly elections and is the current MLA of Fatehgarh Sahib. He won the 2017 elections by defeating Shiromani Akali Dal's Didar Singh Bhatti with a margin of 23,867 votes. Voters According to the voter list for the 2017 assembly elections, the total number of voters in the constituency is 1,48,913. 194 polling stations were established by the election commission during these elections. A total of 1,24,371 votes were cast in the Fatehgarh Sahib constituency and the percentage was 83.52% which was recorded higher than the state average. Candidates Aam Aadmi Party's Lakhvir Singh Rai, Shiromani Akali Dal's Didar Singh Bhatti and Congress' Kuljit Singh Nagra were MLA candidates for the Fatehgarh Sahib constituency in the 2017 Punjab assembly elections.
