General VK Singh (retd) meets 80 Indian students staying at Poland gurdwara
New Delhi, March 1: Amid the ongoing Ukraine-Russia crisis, Union Minister General VK Singh (retd) met 80 Indian students staying at Gurdwara Sri Guru Singh Sabha at Warsaw in Poland.

On the other hand, Prime Minister Narendra Modi also chaired a high-level meeting to review the efforts to bring back Indians stranded in Ukraine. The meeting was attended by External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar, Minister of Commerce & Industry Piyush Goyal, Foreign Secretary Harsh Vardhan Shringla, National Security Advisor (NSA) Ajit Doval and senior officials.
The Prime minister had on Monday chaired two meetings to review the ongoing efforts under 'Operation Ganga' for the return of Indians from Ukraine amid military operations by Russia. Another meeting was held on Sunday. The Cabinet Committee on Security had met on February 24 in the wake of Russian military actions in Ukraine.
Earlier in the day, Union Minister RK Singh also welcomed stranded Indian students at Delhi Airport and said that the government was committed to bringing back every Indian stranded in Ukraine.
"The government is committed to bringing back every Indian stranded there. Four ministers were deputed just to organise this. There are help desks of states, help desk of Ministry of Power, officers of the Ministry.
