Punjab Police register two FIRs against Sandeep Pathak, arrest fear looms large
PTC News Desk: Punjab Police on Saturday registered two FIRs on non-bailable offences against Rajya Sabha MP Sandeep Pathak, days after his BJP switch.
"Two FIRs have been registered in Punjab against the Rajya Sabha MP. The FIRs against Pathak were filed in two different districts of Punjab,” said an official source, adding that Pathak could be arrested any time now.
According to the sources, a team of Punjab Police arrived at his residence in Delhi to arrest him.
Recently Pathak along with six other MPs including Raghav Chadha merged with the BJP.
Following this, the AAP government on Friday tabled and won a confidence motion in the Punjab Vidhan Sabha.
