Punjab Assembly Elections 2022: Jaitu constituency is located in the Faridkot district of Punjab. It is one of the 117 seats of Punjab Vidhan Sabha. Master Baldev Singh from Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) won the last assembly elections and is the current MLA of Jaitu. He won the 2017 elections by defeating Congress' Mohammad Sadique with a margin of 9,993 votes. Voters According to the voter list for the 2017 assembly elections, the total number of voters in the constituency is 1,42,523. 152 polling stations were established by the election commission during these elections. A total of 1,19,572 votes were cast in the Jaitu constituency and the percentage was 83.90, which was recorded higher than the state average. Candidates Aam Aadmi Party's Baldev Singh, Shiromani Akali Dal's Manjit Singh 'Suba Singh' and Congress' Mohammad Sadique were MLA candidates for the Jaitu constituency in 2017 Punjab assembly elections. Baldev Singh (AAP) grabbed 45,344 votes, while Mohammad Sadique (Congress) got 35,351 votes. Manjit Singh 'Suba Singh' (SAD) received 33,064 votes.
