Punjab Assembly Elections 2022: Jandiala Guru is located in the Amritsar district of Punjab. It is one of the 117 seats of Punjab Vidhan Sabha. Congress' Sukhwinder Singh Danny Bandala won the last assembly elections and is the current MLA of Jandiala. He won the 2017 elections by defeating Shiromani Akali Dal's Dalbir Singh with a margin of 18,422 votes. Voters According to the voter list for the 2017 assembly elections, the total number of voters in the constituency is 1,66,849. 194 polling stations were established by the election commission during these elections. A total of 1,25,484 votes were cast in the Jandiala constituency and the percentage of voting was 75.21%, which was recorded lower than the state average. Candidates Aam Aadmi Party's Harbhajan Singh E. T. O, Shiromani Akali Dal's Dalbir Singh and Congress' Sukhwinder Singh Danny Bandala were in a face-off for Jandiala constituency in the 2017 Punjab Assembly elections 2017. In the 2012 assembly elections, Baljit Singh Jalal Usma of Shiromani Akali Dal was elected as MLA from Jandiala.
