Juju Smith Schuster supports Indian farmers: Farmers continue to protest on the borders of Delhi against the three central agricultural laws and the protest has entered its 71st day.

Juju Smith Schuster, USA’s National Football League (NFL) player has donated $10,000 to provide medical assistance to the farmers in need in India who have been protesting against three agriculture laws that have been passed by the government.
Smith Schuster, the wide receiver for the Pittsburgh Steelers National Football League (NFL), took to Twitter to announce about his donation. He shared a report by usnews.com and said, "Happy to share that I’ve donated $10,000 to provide medical assistance to the farmers in need in India to help save lives during these times. I hope we can prevent any additional life from being lost."

He is the youngest player ever to reach 2,500 career receiving yards and the first player to have two offensive touchdowns of at least 97 yards. He also has several Steelers franchise records on his name. In 2019, Juju Smith-Schuster was ranked as one of the NFL’s most marketable players.

A lot of international celebrities like Rihanna, Amanda Cerny, Greta Thunberg, Mia Khalifa have come out and spoken about the farmers protest happening at the Delhi borders.
Farmers have been protesting at Delhi borders. Despite 11 rounds of meeting between the protesting farmers and the Centre, no conclusion has come out so far. No date has been fixed for the next meeting.
The farmers have been protesting against the Farmers (Empowerment and Protection) Agreement on Price Assurance and Farm Services Act, 2020, Farmers’ Produce Trade and Commerce (Promotion and Facilitation) Act, 2020, and Essential Commodities (Amendment) Act, 2020.
