Punjab Assembly Elections 2022: Lehra is located in the Sangrur district of Punjab. It is one of the 117 seats of Punjab Vidhan Sabha. Shiromani Akali Dal's Parminder Singh Dhindsa won the last assembly elections and is the current MLA of Lehra. He won the 2017 elections by defeating Rajinder Kaur Bhattal of Congress with a margin of 26,815 votes. Voters According to the voter list for the 2017 assembly elections, the total number of voters in the constituency is 160560. 173 polling stations were established by the election commission during these elections. A total of 137866 votes were cast in the constituency Lehra and the percentage was 85.77%, which was recorded higher than the state average. Candidates Aam Aadmi Party's Jasvir Singh, Shiromani Akali Dal's Parminder Singh Dhindsa and Congress' Rajinder Kaur Bhattal were MLA candidates for the Lehra constituency in the 2017 Punjab assembly elections. Parminder Singh Dhindsa (SAD) grabbed 65,550 votes, while Rajinder Kaur Bhattal (Congress) got 38,735 votes. Jasvir Singh (AAP) received 25,089 votes.
