Punjab Assembly Elections 2022: Ludhiana North constituency is located in the Ludhiana district of Punjab. It is one of the 117 seats of Punjab Vidhan Sabha. Rakesh Kumar Pandey from Congress won the last assembly elections and is the current MLA of Ludhiana North. He won the 2017 elections by defeating Bharatiya Janata Party's Parveen Bansal with a margin of 5,132 votes. Voters According to the voter list for the 2017 assembly elections, the total number of voters in the constituency is 1,81,856. 178 polling stations were established by the election commission during these elections. A total of 1,24,318 votes were cast in the Ludhiana North constituency and the percentage was 68.36 % which was recorded lower than the state average. Candidates Lok Insaaf Party's Randhir Singh Sivia, Bharatiya Janata Party's Parveen Bansal and Congress' Rakesh Pandey were MLA candidates for the Ludhiana North constituency in the 2017 Punjab assembly elections. Rakesh Pandey (Congress) grabbed 44,864 votes, while Parveen Bansal (BJP) got 39,732 votes. Randhir Singh Sivia (LIP) managed to get 20,387 votes.
