The student was caught when DAVV member Dr Vivek Sathe, who was on invigilation duty, stopped and searched the student and discovered a cellphone in the inside pocket of his trouser. The phone had been turned on and paired with a Bluetooth device. Dr Vivek, however, did not discover a Bluetooth device but the student was hauled away from the exam and interrogated.
