Air Chief Marshal rejects Pakistan’s claims of shooting down Indian jets; calls them ‘manohar kahaniya’

PTC Web Desk:  Air Chief Marshal AP Singh, Chief of the Indian Air Force (IAF), on Friday dismissed Pakistan’s recent claims of shooting down Indian fighter jets during Operation Sindoor, terming them “manohar kahaniyan” or fanciful stories.

Addressing a press conference, AP Singh said there was no credible evidence to support Pakistan’s assertions, while India had already shared images showing the damage inflicted on Pakistani targets. He suggested that such claims were primarily aimed at misleading the public and saving face.

Air Chief Marshal AP Singh remarked, “If they believe they shot down 15 of our jets, let them. Hopefully, they will account for 15 fewer aircraft in their inventory the next time they face us. I will not disclose the details of the damage or operations, let them find out for themselves.”

The Air Chief Marshal further noted, “Have you seen a single image showing any damage to our airbases, hangars, or equipment? We displayed numerous pictures of the impact on their facilities, yet they failed to provide even one. Their narrative is simply fanciful. Let them maintain appearances for their public; it doesn’t concern us.”
