'They stand as one': Rahul Gandhi shares post amid Shashi Tharoor's rift speculations
PTC News Desk: Amid mounting speculations of rift in Kerala Congress surrounding Shashi Tharoor, MP Rahul Gandhi took to his social media and shared a post stating that the party's leaders in Kerala "stand as one" and were "united".
During the meeting which focused on the strategy for assembly polls in Kerala, the Congress leadership issued a stern warning to all the leaders and warned of disciplinary action if any statements deviating from party's stance are issued.
Shashi Tharoor, Rahul Gandhi, party president Mallikarjun Kharge, general secretary K C Venugopal, Wayanad MP Priyanka Gandhi Vadra, Kerala unit chief K Sudhakaran, Congress Legislature Party (CLP) leader of the Kerala Assembly VD Satheesan, party's Kerala in-charge Deepa Dasmunshi were in attendance.
According to the reports, Rahul Gandhi during the meeting which lasted for mre than three hours said that leaders should be very careful about the political strategy and should not do or say anything that does not abide by the party line.
