CBSE rejects claims of technical issues in post-result portal, says over 1.6 lakh students used service successfully
PTC Web Desk: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has dismissed reports suggesting that its Post-Result Services Portal faced technical problems during the recent application process for verification and re-evaluation of answer sheets.
In a statement, the board said the portal functioned smoothly throughout the application period from June 2 to June 7. The CBSE maintained that the system remained operational without interruption and was monitored by government technical agencies along with experts from the Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs).
According to the board, more than 1.6 lakh students successfully submitted requests involving over 3.8 lakh answer books during the six-day application window. The CBSE said the large number of applications reflected the portal's effective performance and accessibility.
The board also highlighted that the portal was under constant surveillance by cybersecurity teams to protect it from cyber threats and suspicious online activity. Dedicated CBSE staff were available through helpdesks and grievance redressal channels to assist students facing difficulties during the process.
Responding to concerns raised on social media and in some media reports, the CBSE clarified the issue related to the "Roll Number Not Found" message. The board explained that this message appeared only for candidates who had not completed the first stage of the post-result process, which involved applying for photocopies of answer books.
The CBSE reiterated that only students who had applied for scanned copies of their answer sheets during the initial phase were eligible to move to the next stages, including verification of marks and re-evaluation of answers.
The board said it remains committed to maintaining a transparent and student-friendly post-result process. It added that genuine concerns raised by students continue to be addressed through its helpline services, grievance redressal system and other communication channels.
