Board Exams 2024: As the board examination 2024 for Class 10th and 12th is scheduled to start from February 15 (Thursday), Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) issued a circular for schools, students, and parents ahead of the board exams.
The official circular issued by Central Board of Secondary Education reads, “This year, more than 39 lakh students from 26 countries in India and abroad will appear for the exam. 5,80,192 students will appear for the board exams from 877 examination centers in Delhi.
Since the examination starts at 10.30 am, all students are instructed to reach their examination centers on or before 10.00 am.”
Highlighting the prevailing situation of Delhi with traffic disruption across border regions due to the implementation of multiple barricades by the police, halting vehicle movement at the Singhu and Tikri borders in anticipation of the farmers' planned march towards Delhi, CBSE advised all students to leave their homes early to ensure they arrive at their examination centers on time.
Moreover, CBSE also advised all students across India to each the examination center on or before 10.00 am (IST) keeping in mind the local conditions, traffic, weather conditions, distance etc.
“All schools are requested to help and guide the parents and students. Students are once again advised to visit their examination center well in advance and plan their journey so that they can reach before or on time on all examination days,” reads CBSE circular.
Notably, the CBSE Board is scheduled to conduct the board examination for Class 10 and 12 starting from February 15. The board examinations of Class 10 to conclude on March 13 while the examination of Class 12 to conclude on April 2.
It is necessary for all Class 10 and 12 students to carry their Admit Cards for their board examination. Students who fail to carry the Admit cards will not be allowed to sit for the board exams 2024.
