Coronavirus update: India sees slight drop in fresh Covid-19 cases, vaccinations continue
Coronavirus update: India reported 10,093 new cases of Covid-19 on Sunday, a slight decrease from the 10,753 cases reported the day before.
This brings the total number of cases to 4,50,51,472, with an active caseload of 57,542 (0.13 per cent of the total cases). 6,248 recoveries were reported in the last 24 hours, resulting in a total of 4,42,29,459 recoveries and a 98.68 per cent recovery rate.

807 vaccinations were administered in the last 24 hours, bringing the total number of doses administered to 220.66 crore under the national inoculation drive. 23 people died from the disease in the past 24 hours, bringing the total death count to 5,31,114 and the fatality rate to 1.19 per cent.
Additionally, 1,79,853 tests were conducted in the last 24 hours. In Delhi, 1,396 new cases were reported on Saturday, with a positivity rate of 31.9 per cent, the highest in 15 months.
