Delhi murder: Teen stabbed multiple times, 16-year-old dances at scene
New Delhi, November 23: On Tuesday night in northeast Delhi's Welcome area, a horrifying incident unfolded as an 18-year-old was stabbed multiple times by a younger boy, captured in deeply disturbing security footage showing the assailant dancing beside the lifeless body.
Allegedly triggered by a dispute over Rs 350, the brutal murder shocked the neighborhood. CCTV footage revealed the assailant repeatedly stabbing the victim in a frenzied attack, reportedly more than 60 times, following a robbery attempt. The motive behind this horrendous act was believed to be theft.
The distressing video displayed the accused, a 16-year-old, dragging the victim's body into a narrow alleyway and mercilessly attacking him to ensure his demise. Subsequently, he resorted to an appalling act, kicking the victim's head before performing a macabre dance beside the corpse.
Police officials stated that the victim, aged around 18, was initially strangled, rendering him unconscious, before being fatally stabbed. The perpetrator, whose identity remains undisclosed, was swiftly apprehended after the incident.
The authorities, conducting a thorough investigation, have analyzed CCTV footage and deployed forensic experts to gather evidence from the crime scene. This shocking and brutal act has stunned the community, leaving many in disbelief and grief over the senseless loss of life.
