Lok Sabha Polls 2024 Phase 5 : India is gearing up for another phase of Lok Sabha Elections 2024, with the Phase 5 set to commence on Monday, May 20. 


With 49 parliamentary constituencies across eight States and Union Territories, Lok Sabha Polls 2024 Phase 5 is all set to commence on May 20, 2024. The counting of votes will be held on June 4.

During the Lok Sabha Polls 2024 Phase 5, the polling is scheduled to take place across 5 seats in Bihar, 3 seats in Jharkhand, 13 seats in Maharashtra, 5 seats in Odisha, 14 seats in Uttar Pradesh, 7 seats in West Bengal, 1 each in Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh. 

Lok Sabha Polls 2024 Phase 5: Date and Time 

The voting for the fifth phase of elections will start Monday (May 20) at 7:00 am IST and will end at 5 pm IST.

Lok Sabha Polls Phase 5 : Key candidates 

Prominent contestants to contest in Lok Sabha Phase 5 includes - Rahul Gandhi,  Rajnath Singh, Smriti Irani, Karan Bhushan Singh, Omar Abdullah, Piyush Goyal, Kishori Lal Sharma , Rohini Acharya, Ujjwal Nikam and Varsha Gaikwad.

The general elections are being held across seven phases. The first four phases were held on April 19, April 26, May 7, and May 13, while the subsequent phases are scheduled on May 20, May 27 and June 1. The counting of votes will happen on June 4.
