Pune Porsche accident: Accused teen's bail cancelled; ink thrown on father at court

Pune Porsche accident: The Juvenile Justice Board (JJB) has cancelled the bail of a 17-year-old boy accused in the Pune Porsche accident in which a biker and a pillion rider were killed.

The accused has been sent to a remand home for 14 days, until June 5.


Amitesh Kumar, the Pune Police Commissioner, shared the latest development in the case, saying, "We had filed a review application before the Juvenile Justice Board, praying that the accused be tried as an adult and sent to a remand home."

"The Juvenile Justice Board communicated to us the operative order, and the accused was sent to the remand home for 14 days until June 5. The orders for his trial as an adult will be issued in due course, according to the police commissioner.

Meanwhile, when the police vehicle transporting the father of the minor suspect arrived at court on Wednesday, people poured ink at it.

As the investigation into the event proceeds, the Pune Crime Branch team nabbed the teen's father from Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar on Tuesday morning.
