PTC News Desk: Goldy Brar, a Canada-based gangster, issued a threat against Bollywood actor Salman Khan during a television interview, stating that Khan would only be spared if he apologised to the Bishnoi community for the killing of a sacred blackbuck in 1998. The blackbuck holds significant religious importance to the Bishnoi community.
As per to the reports in an interview, Goldy Brar admitted to killing singer Sidhu Moosewala and expressed intentions to kill Salman Khan. Reports suggest that Goldy Brar has fled Canada. These statements follow a series of threat calls and letters received by Salman Khan in recent months, leading to heightened security measures around his residence by the Mumbai Police.
Goldy Brar, emphasising his life goal to kill Salman Khan, conveyed to India Today, "Bhai saheb (Lawrence Bishnoi) had stated that he wouldn't apologise. Baba will show mercy only when he feels merciful." He further added, "Like we have said earlier, it's not just about Salman Khan. We will continue our attempts against all our enemies as long as we're alive. Salman Khan is our target, there's no doubt about that. We'll keep trying, and when we succeed, you'll know."
Additionally, Goldy Brar acknowledged the killing of Sidhu Moosewala, attributing it to Moosewala's arrogance and misuse of political and financial power. "Sidhu Moosewala was an egoistic person. He misused his political and money power. It was necessary to teach him a lesson, and he was taught one," Brar stated.
Lawrence Bishnoi, who is currently in jail in Bathinda, reportedly disclosed to investigators that he receives payment from politicians and businessmen for making threats, allowing them to seek additional police protection. Bishnoi had previously confessed to the National Investigation Agency (NIA) that Salman Khan was one of his primary targets.
In response to the threats, Salman Khan expressed his concerns in April, stating, "I know whatever is going to happen will happen no matter what you do. I believe that (points upwards, referring to God) that he is there. It is not that I will start roaming freely, it is not like that. Now there are so many Sheras around me. So many guns are going around with me that I am scared these days."
