Tragedy strikes Ghaziabad couple at Delhi zoo, both die within hours of each other
PTC Web Desk: Tragedy struck a young couple in Ghaziabad as what began as a leisurely visit to the zoo ended in heart-wrenching loss. Abhishek Ahluwali, a 25-year-old newlywed, and his wife Anjali set out for Delhi zoo to enjoy their day together. However, fate took a cruel turn when Abhishek started experiencing chest pain during the outing. Concerned for his well-being, Anjali promptly called his friends for assistance. Abhishek was initially taken to Guru Teg Bahadur hospital and later referred to Safdarjung hospital.
Despite the medical attention he received, Abhishek tragically succumbed to a heart attack later that day. The cause of death was identified as a heart attack, sending shockwaves through the young couple's families. Abhishek's body was brought back to their residence at Ahlcon Apartments in Ghaziabad's Vaishali around 9 pm. The news of his untimely demise was devastating for Anjali, who, then ended life by jumping from the seventh floor.
Anjali was immediately taken to Max Hospital in Vaishali with severe injuries, but she died. Abhishek's relative, Babita, recounted the heart-wrenching moments after his body arrived home. Overwhelmed with grief, Anjali sat next to her husband's body, weeping uncontrollably. Suddenly, she rose towards the balcony, and jumped from the seventh floor.
