Women’s Day Event ‘सशक्त नारी समृद्ध समाज’ organised at Post Graduate Government College, Sector 11
PTC News Desk: On the occasion of International Women’s Day, Post Graduate Government College, Sector 11 organized an event titled “सशक्त नारी समृद्ध समाज” under the initiative of the Gender Equity and Self Defence Society of the college. The program aimed to spread awareness about women empowerment and gender equality, with active participation from students and support from the organizing committee and faculty members.
The competitions were judged by Dr. Sonia Kumar and Dr. Poonam, who appreciated the creativity and confidence shown by the participants. Other faculty members were also present to encourage the students.
As part of the event, Poster Making and Poem Recitation competitions were organized on the theme “सशक्त नारी समृद्ध समाज”. In the Poster Making Competition, Manashvi secured the first position, Om Kumari second, Vaishali third, and Vanshika Rathour received a consolation prize. In the Poem Recitation Competition, Raghav secured first position, Sakshi second, and Ananya Singh third.
The event concluded with the message that empowering women is essential for building a progressive and prosperous society.
