Punjab Assembly elections 2022: Pathankot constituency is one of the 117 seats of the Punjab Vidhan Sabha. Amit Vij of the Congress is the current MLA. He had won the 2012 Punjab Assembly elections by defeating his nearest opponent Ashvani Kumar Sharma of the BJP with a margin of 11,170 votes. Voters According to the voters' list for the 2017 elections, the total number of voters from the constituency is 1,44,094. As many as 163 polling stations were established by the Election Commission in the last elections. A total of 1,10,227 votes were cast in the Pathankot constituency and the percentage of voting held was 76.50%, which was recorded lower than the state average.
