Haryana BJP gets ECI notice for using child in election campaign video
PTC News Desk: The Election Commission (EC) has issued a notice to the BJP's Haryana unit for using a child in a campaign video.
The poll body stated in February that it will have a zero-tolerance approato on the use of children in election-related work and campaign activities. According to EC sources, it looks into a post on X by the BJP's Haryana handle that featured a child in a campaign video.
The video violated the Election Commission's guidelines. The EC ordered the Haryana BJP to respond by 6 p.m. on Thursday.
