Major rejig in Punjab Cabinet; Aman Arora devoid of Information & PR dept charge
Chandigarh, March 15: In a proposed rejig, Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann has proposed to take away key portfolios of state Minister Aman Arora. The development came as the Punjab CM on Wednesday sought the permission of Governor Banwarilal Purohit for a reshuffle in the portfolios of his Cabinet colleagues.
Aman Arora held two key portfolios of Housing and Urban Development and Information and Public Relations. Now, Chief Minister has proposed to give Arora charge of the departments of Governance Reforms and Removal of Grievances.
Meanwhile, Bhagwant Mann has kept the department of Housing and Urban Development for himself, while allocating the Information and Public Relations to Chetan Singh Jouramajra.
Aman Arora, on the other hand, has been granted the department of New and Renewable Energy Resources, Printing and Stationary, Governance Reforms and Removal of Grievances, and Employment Generation and Training.
