'PM left no stone unturned to crush AAP', says Arvind Kejriwal a day after bail

PTC News Desk: Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal attacked Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday, a day after being released on interim bail. The national convenor of AAP claimed that BJP wants to crush the Aam Aadmi Party so they sent four of the party's key leaders to jail simultaneously.

Arvind Kejriwal and his wife Sunita Kejriwal visited Delhi's famed Hanuman Temple in Connaught Place on Saturday morning. Arvind Kejriwal, speaking at his first election rally after being jailed, accused Prime Minister Narendra Modi of jailing four of the AAP's senior leaders at the same time.

Kejriwal said that PM Modi believes that AAP is the country's future."Our Aam Aadmi Party is a small party that works in two states. However, the Prime Minister went to extremes to destroy our party, imprisoning four of its leaders at once. If four of the senior leaders of major parties are imprisoned, the party will collapse. The Prime Minister wishes to crush AAP...PM Modi believes that AAP is the party that would provide the country with a future," he stated at a public gathering in the national capital.

Notably, central agencies jailed AAP's most prominent leaders, including Arvind Kejriwal, Manish Sisodia, Sanjay Singh, and Satyendra Jain, on corruption charges.

Sanjay Singh has recently been released from jail on regular bail. Manish Sisodia, Arvind Kejriwal's former deputy in the Delhi administration, has been in jail since February 2023.
