During zero-hour, Ganieve Kaur Majithia from Majitha constituency strongly criticised the government over the law and questioned that why amendments were not made to the controversial clauses in the Jaagat Jot Sri Guru Granth Sahib Satkar (Amendment) Act, 2026.Ganieve Kaur also raised objections over Speaker Kultar Singh Sandhwan's purported remarks calling 'sangat above the Guru' and alleged that the ruling party is challenging the authority of Sri Akal Takht Sahib. You are placing the Sangat above the Guru. Do you intend to challenge the Guru? Ganieve Kaur Majithia said. The Sangat comprisis people who remember and meditate on God's name. Those who recite Gurbani are the true Sangat. The people sitting in the Assembly are not the Guru's Sangat; here, we are MLAs and ministers.
